Chicken Afritada

Ingredients:

1 kilo chicken, cut into pieces
5 pieces potatoes, peeled and halved
1 onion, diced
1 head garlic, minced
1 green bell pepper, sliced into strips
1 red bell pepper, sliced into strips
1 chicken cube

1 cup water

1 cup tomato sauce
2 tablespoons of patis (fish sauce)
3 tablespoons of cooking oil

Instructions:

In a cooking pot or wok, heat oil.
Sauté garlic and onions.
Add chicken and slightly brown.
Pour the tomato sauce, water and chicken cube. Bring to a boil and allow to simmer for 20 minutes or until the chicken is almost cooked.
Add potatoes and continue to cook for 10 minutes or until the potatoes are cooked.
Add the green and red bell peppers, simmer for an additional minute or two.
Salt and pepper to taste.

Sheng Got Expelled in the Academy

She received the lowest number of text vote at 48.93%, while Jet got 51.07%. But Jet is not happy with the result(as well as me). The guy really wanted to get out of the academy(my question is: eh bakit pa sya nag-audition?). Well, maybe he is right - he is not deserving to be inside the academy....with due respect to his follower, sorry for my opinion because watching him making "reklamo" is really irritating.

On the other hand, Liezel got the Star Scholar of the week for the 3rd time. Christian and Van also got in the top 3 spot.

GINATAANG PUSO NG SAGING

Ingredients:

1 cup coconut cream
2 tablespoon oil
2 medium size onions
2 medium size tomatoes
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 kilo shredded puso ng saging
2 tablespoon rock salt
2 tablespoon vinegar

1 cup dried dilis
salt and pepper to taste

In a skillet, heat oil then saute garlic, onion and tomatoes. Add puso ng saging,dried dilis and vinegar. Bring to boil without stirring. Season to taste then add the kakang gata. Heat for a few minutes more.

Things that I wanted to do first before getting married

Before I gave myself to the man I love and to share everything and all of myself to him…well, of course there are things that I wanted to do first, things that I will seldom or will not able to do if I already commit myself into married.

This are:

An International travel alone.
Buy myself a very expensive bag.
Complete my “pink” things collection.
Buy my mom a very expensive jewelry.
Live alone(im currently staying with my parents)
bar hopping with my friends.
Spend time with our 4 dog, im gonna miss them.

Scholar Ross Dropped-out of the Academy

He officially dropped-out of the Academy for the reason of extreme homesickness and he couldn’t stand the pressures of conflicting parties inside the Academy. Its another "sayang", he is too close to his dream...tsk, tsk,tsk.....
Their mentor Joey Reyes was right when he compare them to the first batch of the scholars. The first batch had that passion and was very eager to learn unlike the new set of dreamers. This new batch is so sensitive, so "mareklamo"....in my own opinion they should join the Pinoy Big Brother instead of the Pinoy Dream Academy because they are "sobrang madrama sa buhay".
